What is happening now
Forsaken by Valhalla is a Norse-themed tactical roguelite where dishonored warriors denied entry to the afterlife must fight for redemption. The game blends strategy and adventure across procedurally generated runs on PC. The title has been in active development since its April 2022 release, with recent updates expanding its scope. Version 0.9.0 introduced new biomes, spells, and defensive tower mechanics, suggesting the developer continues to add substantial content. The game's core premise - warriors rejected by Valhalla forced to prove themselves - remains its central narrative hook, distinguishing it within the crowded roguelite space.
