Ascent DX rises up on Switch today

Ascent DX is a bite-sized Metroidvania from Sleepy Grove Games and Apskeppet, built around 64 x 64 pixel art and chiptune soundtrack. The game launched on PC and macOS in March 2025, putting you in the role of a crash survivor uncovering your fate through exploration and combat.
The game has now made its way to Nintendo Switch, expanding its audience beyond its original platforms. The portable version brings the same compact Metroidvania formula to handheld play, letting players experience the game's pixel-perfect visuals and chiptune score on the go.
