Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake 2025

About

Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake modernizes Square Enix's foundational RPG duology with the studio's distinctive HD-2D visual treatment. The remake compiles the first two Dragon Quest games on PC, Switch, Xbox Series S/X, and PlayStation 5, launching October 30, 2025. Following its release, the game has primarily appeared in retail roundups and promotional coverage, with retailers highlighting deals during broader sales events. The remake has drawn attention as part of wider gaming merchandise and hardware promotions rather than through gameplay-focused coverage, suggesting early post-launch visibility tied to shopping events.
