Tenebris Somnia is a horror adventure in the same vein as survival horror classics like Silent Hill or Resident Evil, but transferred to a retro 2D environment more typical of the N.E.S. or Famicom. You will struggle to survive by solving puzzles and fighting horrible creatures. The secret ingredient of the game is its cinematics. When you reach certain key points you will see sequences with a completely different aesthetic, made in live action with real actors and created by a professional film crew.

Tenebris Somnia is an indie adventure set to launch across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, Nintendo Switch, and PC on October 16, 2026. The game is also confirmed for Nintendo Switch 2, where it will receive a physical release through a partnership between New Blood Interactive and Lost in Cult - a full cartridge version rather than a code-in-box affair. Recent coverage has highlighted a new gameplay trailer that showcases the title's direction, drawing positive initial reactions from viewers.
