About
Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 remains the series' most beloved entry, having carved out a loyal community over its more than a decade-long lifespan. With Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite failing to capture similar enthusiasm, UMvC3 has retained its position as the franchise standard, continuing to draw competitive and casual play across multiple platforms. The game's modding scene has grown increasingly active in recent years. Fans have developed mods that expand the playable roster, addressing long-standing omissions - notably adding Mega Man, correcting what many consider a significant gap in Capcom's representation. Additional character mods, including an Oni variant, demonstrate ongoing community efforts to freshen the 13-year-old fighting game's roster and competitive meta.
