About
From humble backwater to medieval metropolis - build the city of your dreams!
What is happening now
Townsmen is a city-building strategy game where players construct and manage their own medieval settlement. Originally released in 2012, the game has remained available across mobile platforms and PC. HandyGames, the developer behind Townsmen, recently underwent a significant restructuring, rebranding as THQ Nordic Mobile. The shift marks a strategic pivot toward mobile ports and represents a major milestone for the studio, which had operated under its original name for approximately 25 years. This transition signals the company's continued focus on mobile gaming while operating under the larger THQ Nordic umbrella.
