About

Finally reunited and searching for a new home, Josef and Berta discover a hidden valley settled by two peculiar robot tribes slowly running short of power. The time has come for a sequel to Amanita Design's adventure classic.

What is happening now

Amanita Design has announced Machinarium 2, a sequel to the studio's hand-drawn point-and-click adventure, coming to PC via Steam. The game brings back protagonists Josef and Berta as playable characters, introducing puzzle mechanics that leverage switching between them to progress through new locations. Composer Tomas Dvorak, who scored the original, returns for the soundtrack. Details remain sparse beyond the announcement, with a release date not yet confirmed. The sequel marks a return to the series after more than a decade, building on the visual style and mechanical foundation that defined the first game.
