About
Silent Hills was a planned next Silent Hill installment developed by Kojima Productions using their Fox Engine. It was officially cancelled on 26 April 2015.
What is happening now
Silent Hills was a planned PlayStation 4 horror title from Konami that never reached completion. The project, which was to be directed by Hideo Kojima and feature actor Norman Reedus, was canceled in 2015. Before its cancellation, Konami released P.T., a free playable teaser that served as an interactive trailer for the game. P.T. became something of a cult phenomenon, though it was later removed from the PlayStation Store. Recently, an unofficial PC port of P.T. has surfaced and become available for download, giving PC players a chance to experience the demo for the first time on that platform. The port marks another chapter in the enduring interest surrounding Silent Hills and its associated material, even years after the project's demise.
