What is happening now
RuneScape: Dragonwilds is a survival crafting RPG spinoff launching September 15, 2026, across PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. The game will also be available on Xbox Game Pass at launch. The title has already exceeded expectations during early access, selling 1.3 million copies against an internal forecast of 200,000 units. A recent major update overhauled the agility skill, introducing new movement and jumping mechanics alongside obstacle courses. Physical editions are coming November 5 across console and PC platforms, with a Deluxe version offering collector-focused bonuses. Jagex has signaled plans for a multi-year post-launch roadmap, indicating this is positioned as an evolving experience rather than a finished product at full release.
