Story

The end of an era, the dawn of another; the fall of a faction, the rise of another... The torchbearers shall shine upon the brave new world. After severing ties with G&K, the Commander bid farewell to the past and chose to venture into the contamination zones. During their journey, the Commander encountered more and more individuals and Tactical Dolls. Each with their own unique stories, they became indispensable members of the Commander's team. The Commander, who only sought to complete bounty missions smoothly and earn a stable income, was unexpectedly ambushed during what appeared to be a routine transport mission. Far from the bustling vortex, it became clear that the Commander had been drawn into an even larger maelstrom...

What is happening now

Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium is a tactical turn-based shooter that blends RPG and strategy mechanics across mobile and PC platforms. The game tasks players with commanding a squad of anthropomorphic firearms-themed characters through tactical combat scenarios. Since its December 2023 launch, the game has been receiving regular content updates. The recent Chiral Redundancy update added new playable unit OTS-14 alongside a challenging adversary called Nemesis: Gnosis, while also distributing substantial in-game rewards to the player base. The update reflects the typical live-service approach the series maintains, focusing on expanding the roster and introducing new difficulty spikes for engaged players.
