Payday 3 is a co-op heist shooter that launched in September 2023 across PC and current-generation consoles. The game received a significant update this September that addresses a long-standing complaint about its monetization structure. Developer Starbreeze announced that all previously paid heist content would become available to owners of the base game, eliminating a paywall that had separated free and premium players and making the full experience more accessible without additional purchases.
