About
The Looter is 2D, action/adventure, pixel art, postapocalyptic indie game.
What is happening now
The Looter is a post-apocalyptic action-adventure for PC and Mac set in Tortura, a decaying world of overgrown ruins and deserts. Players control a lone scavenger navigating mutated creatures and hostile inhabitants while pursuing a journey toward the legendary Monastyr. The game entered beta signup phase recently, marking progress toward its full release. Coverage has remained relatively light, with most attention focused on broader conversations within the looter-shooter genre - particularly Nintendo's more specialized approach with Splatoon Raiders and ongoing industry discussion around the Borderlands franchise.
