Kung Fu: Remaster 2022

About

Kung Fu: Remaster is an action game available on web browsers, launched in November 2022. Recent coverage has focused heavily on Phantom Blade Zero, a stylistically similar title that has garnered significant attention following its Game Awards appearance. That game merges traditional wuxia martial arts with steampunk aesthetics in what's being termed "Kung Fu Punk," drawing comparisons to other visually ambitious action titles. The director has emphasized the game's design philosophy rooted in kung fu principles, noting that difficulty can be approached flexibly - even suggesting theoretical completion with unconventional means. Early hands-on impressions highlight Phantom Blade Zero's Souls-like structure paired with kung fu combat, positioning it as a notable entry in action games that blend martial arts authenticity with fantastical settings.
