Throne and Liberty Delivers Tons of Nix Improvements, Adds New Weapon Tier, Snowsoul Weapons
Throne and Liberty's latest update delivers on some promised improvements to Nix, adds the new Snowsoul Weapons tier, a new enemy difficulty tier, and more.
Throne and Liberty is an action-RPG MMO launched in October 2024 on PC, featuring large-scale combat and cooperative endgame content. Since launch, the game has received regular updates introducing new raid encounters, progression systems, and PvP modes to keep its seasonal content fresh.
Recent patches have brought significant additions including a 12v12 Battlegrounds mode with rotating seasonal play, new Archboss encounters like Ramux and her dragon companion Atirat, additional Guild Raids, and Dimensional Trials. The developers have also addressed balance issues and quality-of-life improvements based on player feedback, particularly around the Nix region and weapon progression costs. In a major shift for the title, Amazon Game Studios has announced it will hand off publishing duties to NC and FirstSpark Games by Q2 2026, stepping away from MMO operations entirely while allowing the original developers to continue supporting the game rather than shutting it down.

For a while, Amazon Game Studios put a huge number of its eggs into the basket of MMORPGs, and particularly Asian-developed MMORPG projects at that. We saw the company publishing and supporting Lost Ark, Throne and Liberty, and also the western made New World/New World: Aeternum,…
Amazon Games is returning the MMOs to their respective developers.
The two MMOs will change hands in the coming months
Smilegate, the developer of South Korean MMO Lost Ark will be taking control of the Western servers that were previously run by Amazon Game Studios. Likewise, FireSpark will be taking control of Throne and Liberty 's servers. Though, the transition will cause some disruption and…

Update, August 13, 2026: Amazon Game Studios has ended its publishing deal with Smilegate's MMO Lost Ark.
Ramux has landed in Throne and Liberty with the game’s newest patch. This is kind of a mixed blessing. On the down side, it means that you will have to fight a new archboss that is very, very interested in absolutely ruining your day with draconic powers. On the up side, it means…
Tonight's Throne and Liberty update adds Archboss Ramux and her dragon Atirat, along with new Archboss weapons and crafting recipes, Guild Raids, balance changes, more weapon enhancement cost reduction.
Throne and Liberty is looking ahead to next week's Ramux Archboss encounter, and the team is also outlining several fixes and improvements coming to the Nix region following player feedback since the update launch.
Ramux is apparently the last Dragon Knight in Throne and Liberty, and she really doesn’t like human beings. She presumably likes her personal dragon partner, Atirat, and she looks rather human at a glance which makes her hatred a bit odd, but she’s back to her old tricks and thos…
Next week, Throne and Liberty's next Archboss, Ramux, and her dragon, Atirat, will make their debut.
We’ll get the bad news out of the way first: The new PvP game mode that’s been added with the latest update to Throne and Liberty is called seal battle, but you are not taking up the role of seals with weapons or Navy SEALs who have been isekai’d into Solisium. It should still be…
