Bloodborne is FromSoftware's gothic action-RPG exclusive for PlayStation 4, released in late 2015. The Game of the Year Edition bundles the base game with its The Old Hunters expansion, delivering the full experience of Victorian-inspired monster hunting and challenging combat.
Recent coverage has shifted focus to spiritual successors in the action-RPG space. Mortal Shell 2, the follow-up from Cold Symmetry, is drawing comparisons as a potential alternative for players seeking similar gameplay experiences, with coverage suggesting the sequel may have found stronger footing than its predecessor in delivering what fans of this style are looking for.
