Stormind Games is bringing the Remothered trilogy to a close with Red Nun's Legacy, scheduled to release October 27, 2026 across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. The survival horror series, which has built a dedicated following through its atmospheric tension and puzzle-driven gameplay, will conclude its narrative arc with this final installment centered on protagonist Susan.
The multiplatform release marks a significant moment for the franchise - notably including Nintendo's upcoming Switch 2 hardware in its launch window, signaling broader industry confidence in the new console's third-party support during its critical debut period. For series fans and survival horror enthusiasts, the three-year wait from the franchise's last entry presents both anticipation and questions about whether Stormind can deliver a satisfying trilogy conclusion.
- Red Nun's Legacy lands across five platforms simultaneously in October 2026, with Switch 2 inclusion suggesting solid publisher backing for Nintendo's next system.
- This caps Remothered's storyline, making it the definitive endpoint rather than another installment.
- Series veterans should expect the franchise's established formula of puzzle-solving and atmospheric dread in a survival horror context.
