Both Battlefield 6 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 are offering trial access to players this weekend, creating a head-to-head moment for the two franchises. Battlefield 6's free trial runs through August 25 and arrives alongside the Season 4 mid-season update, while Modern Warfare 4 is launching its beta during the same window. The overlap appears deliberate on Battlefield's part, positioning the trial to capture players curious about the competition during one of Modern Warfare 4's most significant promotional periods.
- Battlefield 6's free trial window lasts until August 25, bundled with new Season 4 content to drive engagement.
- The timing directly counters Call of Duty's beta launch, offering players a chance to evaluate both franchises simultaneously.
- Both publishers are leveraging the same weekend to court franchise loyalists and undecided players.
