Microsoft has confirmed a second batch of titles arriving on Xbox Game Pass this month, building on earlier August additions. The fresh roster includes multiple day-one releases alongside other new additions, with some games also rolling out to Game Pass Premium subscribers as part of the service's expanded offerings.
The staggered release approach continues Microsoft's strategy of spreading Game Pass announcements across the month rather than frontloading the entire catalog at once. This second wave ensures subscribers have fresh content to discover throughout August.
- Microsoft is splitting August's Game Pass releases into multiple waves, with the second batch now officially detailed.
- Day-one releases are included in this second wave, allowing players to access certain games immediately upon launch through the subscription service.
- Premium tier subscribers gain access to additional games alongside the standard Game Pass library.
