The Sims 4 is receiving two new Capsule Kits themed around Mean Girls and Clueless, arriving next week across a wide range of platforms. These kits will introduce clothing and fashion options inspired by the two cult films, allowing players to dress their sims in styles pulled directly from the movies. The kits will launch simultaneously on EA App, Epic Games Store, Steam, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Xbox One and Series X|S.
The move continues The Sims 4's strategy of leveraging licensed IP to expand its cosmetic offerings. By tying in recognizable film properties with decades-long cultural staying power, EA is targeting both longtime players and newer audiences who might be drawn to the franchises themselves.
- Both Mean Girls and Clueless Capsule Kits arrive next week across all major PC and console storefronts.
- The kits focus on fashion and clothing options inspired by the respective films' iconic styles.
- This reflects The Sims 4's continued reliance on licensed content to drive cosmetic purchases.
