Mattel and Microsoft have partnered to release a buildable brick set recreating the original Xbox. The set contains 3,509 pieces and includes a replica of the Duke controller along with display dioramas. At $324, it represents Mattel's latest entry into licensed construction sets for gaming hardware, following the company's broader push into interactive building products.
- Mattel's brick set captures the original Xbox's iconic design down to its signature bulky controller.
- The 3,509-piece count and included dioramas position this as a substantial display piece rather than a simple model kit.
- The collaboration reflects growing mainstream interest in gaming nostalgia merchandise tied to early 2000s console culture.
