Mattel is releasing a full-scale buildable original Xbox set through its premium Brick Shop line to mark the console's 25th anniversary. The construction kit contains 3,509 pieces and recreates both the console and its iconic Duke controller at actual size, positioning itself as both an engaging building project and a display piece for collectors. The set represents an unusual entry in the wave of anniversary merchandise surrounding the Xbox milestone this year.
- Mattel's premium Brick Shop brand is handling the release, suggesting a higher-end positioning within the buildable brick market.
- The 1:1 scale approach means this functions as substantial furniture-like display rather than a smaller collectible model.
