Pipistrello and the Cursed Yoyo free Switch 2 update launches today

PM Studios and Pocket Trap have released Pipistrello and the Cursed Yoyo on Nintendo Switch 2, available now through the eShop at £17.99 / $19.99. The new version takes advantage of the hardware's capabilities, delivering 120fps performance at 1080p resolution - a significant step up from the original Switch release.

The launch marks a quick turnaround for the indie platformer on Nintendo's latest hardware, with the developers capitalizing on early Switch 2 adoption to bring their yo-yo-based adventure to the newer system. Given the performance bump, the Switch 2 edition appears positioned as the definitive way to play on Nintendo hardware.

TL;DR

Pipistrello and the Cursed Yoyo is now available on Switch 2 at £17.99 / $19.99, running at 120fps and 1080p.
The Switch 2 version offers substantially higher performance targets than the original Switch release.
