IzanagiGames has made a PlayStation 5 demo available for AKIBA LOST, its live-action adventure title. The developer plans to bring the experience to Nintendo Switch 2 and the original Switch on August 26, 2026, with digital pre-orders opening simultaneously across both Nintendo platforms. The staggered demo rollout suggests the studio is testing audience response on Sony's hardware before expanding to Nintendo's ecosystem.
- PS5 demo is live now; Switch versions arrive August 26, 2026 with pre-orders opening the same day.
- AKIBA LOST is positioned as a long-form live-action game, a format still relatively uncommon on console platforms.
- The phased approach gives IzanagiGames time to gather feedback before the broader multi-platform launch window.
