Infinity Ward and Activision have announced the beta schedule for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, with organizers positioning it as the most content-rich beta the franchise has offered to date. The two-weekend structure will give players extended access to test the game ahead of launch, marking an unusually generous preview period for the series.
The company's decision to pack the beta with substantial content signals confidence in the build while also serving the practical purpose of gathering extensive player feedback across multiple gameplay scenarios. This approach contrasts with previous Call of Duty betas, which have typically been more limited in scope.
- Modern Warfare 4's beta spans two separate weekends with more playable content than any prior Call of Duty beta.
- The expanded preview window reflects both developer confidence and a strategy to maximize feedback before the full release.
