Microsoft is reportedly preparing a translucent green Xbox Series X console to mark the brand's 25th anniversary, with a leaker claiming it will carry a $900 price tag. The special edition is expected to launch during Black Friday, positioning it as a premium collector's item rather than a mass-market release. The timing and pricing suggest Microsoft is targeting enthusiasts willing to pay a significant premium for the limited-edition design.
- The X25 console features a translucent green aesthetic tied to Xbox's quarter-century milestone.
- A $900 asking price marks a substantial premium over standard Series X models, indicating limited availability and collector appeal.
- Black Friday placement appears deliberate, capitalizing on the shopping event despite the high barrier to entry.
