Poncle is releasing Legacy of the Bloodmoon, the third original DLC for Vampire Survivors, on August 28, 2026. The expansion introduces roughly a dozen new playable characters and maintains the studio's pattern of affordably priced content drops. Beyond a brief announcement trailer confirming the release window, Poncle has offered minimal detail about what else the expansion contains or how these characters will fit into the existing roster.
The DLC continues Vampire Survivors' steady expansion strategy since launch. With three original expansions now in the pipeline, the roguelike remains actively supported, though the studio's tight-lipped approach leaves room for surprise reveals before the August launch.
- Legacy of the Bloodmoon adds around 12 new characters to an already substantial roster, positioning it as a meaningful content injection rather than a minor update.
- Poncle's minimal promotional material suggests either confidence in the existing fanbase or intentional mystery-building ahead of release.
- The expansion slots into Vampire Survivors' established DLC model of regular, reasonably priced additions that keep players returning.
