A YouTuber with early access to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 on Nintendo Switch 2 has shared the first gameplay footage of the port, offering an initial look at how the shooter translates to Nintendo's new hardware. As anticipated, the version shows visual downgrades compared to other platforms, a trade-off typical when bringing demanding titles to handheld or less powerful systems. The release represents a significant launch title for the Switch 2, given Call of Duty's continued prominence in the gaming landscape.
- Early Switch 2 footage confirms the expected visual compromises needed to run the demanding shooter on Nintendo's console.
- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 arriving on Switch 2 underscores the platform's importance for AAA multiplatform releases.
