Microsoft appears to be developing a third entry in the Ori series, according to reports circulating among gaming outlets. While details remain scarce, sources suggest the project is actively in production at Xbox. However, expectations should be tempered regarding near-term announcements - the game may not surface at upcoming industry events, meaning a formal reveal could still be months away. The Ori franchise, known for its distinctive hand-drawn art style and challenging platforming, has been dormant since 2020's Will of the Wisps, making any continuation of the series noteworthy for fans invested in the property.
- A third Ori game is reportedly in development at Xbox, though the studio has yet to officially confirm the project.
- The title may not be announced at Gamescom on August 25, suggesting Xbox is keeping it under wraps for now.
