Sega is continuing to expand Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds' roster with free character additions. Following the arrival of Classic Sonic, another new racer is set to join the game this week, maintaining the publisher's commitment to post-launch content at no extra cost to players.
The decision to roll out characters incrementally keeps the kart racer fresh for its audience and aligns with Sega's broader strategy of supporting the game beyond its initial release. Details on the specific character arriving this week remain limited in available reports.
- Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is receiving free character updates on an ongoing basis, with a new racer coming this week.
- Classic Sonic has already been added as part of this content pipeline.
