Archetype Entertainment used Opening Night Live at Gamescom 2026 to unveil fresh footage of Exodus alongside an official release date: April 7, 2027. The studio's debut title has been on players' radar for a while, and this trailer marks the first concrete window for when it'll actually ship. The confirmation comes amid a packed Gamescom schedule, where major announcements typically cluster around the show's opening presentations.
The April 2027 date gives the team roughly a year from now to finalize the game. While details on Exodus' gameplay or story remain sparse across coverage, the release window placement suggests Archetype is confident in its timeline after what's likely been extended development.
- Exodus officially launches April 7, 2027, per the new trailer shown at Gamescom Opening Night Live.
- This is Archetype Entertainment's first game, making the release date reveal particularly significant for the studio's debut.
- The announcement consolidates previous speculation, offering players a concrete target rather than vague future messaging.
