Invoke Studios and Wizards of the Coast unveiled the first gameplay footage for Warlock: Dungeons & Dragons at Gamescom Opening Night Live, marking the franchise's next major release following Baldur's Gate 3's commercial performance. The eight-minute reveal trailer offered the first substantive look at how the title will differentiate itself from Larian's approach, suggesting a notably distinct direction for the property.
The gameplay showcase arrives as publishers continue mining D&D's catalog for adaptations, with Warlock positioned as the franchise's next significant entry. Details from the trailer itself remain limited in available coverage, but the reveal signals Wizards of the Coast's intent to maintain momentum in the gaming space beyond Baldur's Gate 3's success.
