Snoop Dogg is joining Hitman: World of Assassination as an Elusive Target, continuing the series' trend of booking celebrity guest assassinations. The rap legend follows Wiz Khalifa in a rotating roster of high-profile marks that players must eliminate during limited-time contracts. Like previous celebrity targets, Snoop's appearance will be temporary, departing the game within the next month.
The Elusive Target format has become a signature draw for IO Interactive's stealth-assassination trilogy, offering time-gated challenges that create urgency around completion. These contracts maintain player engagement between seasonal updates while generating attention through celebrity partnerships.
- Snoop Dogg joins an established line of musical acts serving as temporary assassination targets in the game.
- Players have a limited window to complete the contract before the target rotates out.
- The celebrity guest model reflects how Hitman: World of Assassination sustains long-term player interest through novelty challenges.
