Rockstar Games has acknowledged the GTA 6 leaks attributed to CyberLeek, issuing an apology to the community for the extended delay in releasing official gameplay footage. The leak has exposed various gameplay mechanics ahead of the publisher's planned reveals, forcing an early public reckoning with unreleased material. While Rockstar has confirmed certain features through the leaked content, the studio's response centers on regret over making fans wait through unofficial channels rather than controlled announcements.
- Rockstar apologized specifically for the timing gap between the leak and official gameplay releases, not the leak itself.
- CyberLeek's leaks have surfaced multiple gameplay features, essentially forcing Rockstar into damage control before scheduled reveals.
