Cygames has announced a Nintendo Switch 2 release for Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising arriving September 17, 2026, available for pre-order now. The port comes packaged as a Legendary Edition at $49.99 and bundles in previously released downloadable content. This marks the fighting game's expansion beyond its current platforms into Nintendo's next hardware generation.
The Switch 2 version represents a broader push by Arc System Works and Cygames to extend the game's reach as the title continues to support its competitive community. By bundling existing DLC into the Legendary Edition at a lower entry point than typical fighting game releases, the publisher appears positioned to capture both new and lapsed players on the hybrid platform.
- Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising is confirmed for Switch 2 with a September 17, 2026 launch date and full DLC pack included at $49.99.
- The Legendary Edition packaging bundles previously released content, lowering friction for new players adopting the game on Nintendo's hardware.
