Microsoft's next-generation console, the Xbox Series X25, has entered pre-order availability following an initial early access window for select fans. The system sold through the Microsoft Store's inventory almost immediately during that exclusive period. Retailers are now restocking the hardware; EB Games announced availability for its World Plus members at a scheduled time in Australian Eastern time, with both the console and a matching controller set to arrive at that window.
The rapid sellout underscores continued demand for new console hardware, though broader availability remains limited to tiered access rather than open purchasing across all outlets simultaneously.
- Early access pre-orders sold out instantly on Microsoft's official store, signaling strong initial interest in the Series X25.
- EB Games is fulfilling stock through a membership tier system, suggesting retailers are managing allocation carefully rather than opening orders to everyone at once.
- Both the console and a dedicated controller are available through these restocked channels.
