Venn Studios confirmed that Rogue Reigns, its party-focused deckbuilder, will launch on Nintendo Switch 2 alongside other platforms. The title, which centers squad composition rather than solo card synergies typical of the genre, is slated for October 28, 2026. The announcement expands the game's reach beyond the standard Switch to Nintendo's next console generation.
The shift to Switch 2 reflects developer confidence in the platform's install base, though the game remains scheduled for the same multiplatform release window alongside Xbox and PlayStation versions. Party-based deckbuilders remain relatively uncommon in a genre dominated by single-character roguelikes, positioning Rogue Reigns as a structural alternative rather than an iterative one.
- Rogue Reigns moves from Switch to Switch 2, maintaining its October 28, 2026 release date across all platforms.
- The dark fantasy deckbuilder organizes gameplay around party management, distinguishing it from standard solo-focused card roguelikes.
