Epic Games Store is offering Breathedge as a free download this week alongside Rival Stars Horse Racing, with both titles available through September 3. After that date, the storefront will rotate in Alone With You as its next giveaway title. Breathedge is an outer space survival game that shares design DNA with Subnautica, tasking players with survival mechanics against the backdrop of the void rather than an alien ocean.
The promotion gives players a chance to claim the game at no cost before the weekly refresh, which is a standard rotation for Epic's free offerings.
- Breathedge is live free on Epic Games Store until September 3, then rotates out
- The game applies survival mechanics to a space setting, similar to Subnautica's formula but in orbit rather than underwater
