Malapata Studio announced that Book Nook, a cozy building game, will launch on both Nintendo Switch and Switch 2. The studio, known for the relaxation title Camper Van: Make it Home, is bringing the game to Nintendo's platforms, though no release window has been specified yet. Book Nook centers on constructing miniature dioramas, fitting squarely into the growing genre of low-stress, creative sandbox experiences that have found an audience on Nintendo hardware.
- Malapata Studio's next project expands beyond their previous cozy-game work into miniature diorama building.
- The simultaneous Switch and Switch 2 announcement suggests Nintendo's dual-platform strategy will continue supporting the genre through its transition period.
