The Pokémon Company and Aardman Animations are collaborating on an animated series titled "The Misadventures of Sirfetch'd & Pichu," set to arrive in 2027. The project pairs Aardman's signature stop-motion style with Pokémon's roster, centering on the duck-like Sirfetch'd and the electric-type Pichu as they navigate comedic escapades. Beyond the release window and character focus, details remain sparse, though both outlets hint at an adventure-driven narrative in the works.
- Aardman and Pokémon are teaming for an animated series launching in 2027, marking another major media expansion for the franchise.
- Sirfetch'd and Pichu anchor the story, suggesting a focus on character-driven humor rather than the broader Pokémon universe.
