Konami has released a free playable demo for Castlevania: Belmont's Curse on PlayStation 5, available now via the PS Store. This marks the publisher's follow-through on an earlier commitment to let players sample the game ahead of its full launch. The demo represents the first chance to experience a mainline Castlevania entry in over ten years, giving interested players a low-risk way to test whether the revival meets expectations before committing to a purchase.
- Free demo is live now on PS5's PlayStation Store for hands-on early access.
- This is the first mainline Castlevania game released in more than a decade.
- Konami had previously announced the demo, and has now delivered as planned.
A free demo lowers the barrier for players skeptical about a long-dormant franchise's return, directly affecting early sales momentum and word-of-mouth.
