Serenity Forge and Freebird Games have brought A Bird Story to modern consoles, expanding the indie title's platform availability beyond its original PC release. The game, from the studio behind To the Moon, is now playable on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch. This marks another step in Freebird Games' effort to reach console audiences with its narrative-driven experience.
- A Bird Story is now available across three current-generation platforms, having previously been limited to PC.
- Serenity Forge is handling publishing duties for the console versions.
- Freebird Games continues expanding its console footprint following the success of To the Moon on similar platforms.
Console ports of indie narrative games signal continued commercial viability for story-focused titles outside traditional AAA spaces.
