About
Death Note is a game available on PC, Linux, and Android since September 2022. Based on the anime and manga series, it places players in scenarios tied to the franchise's core premise. Recent attention to the game has been indirect: a Massachusetts student's physical Death Note notebook sparked a school suspension and police investigation, prompting broader discussion about the franchise's real-world impact. While the incident involved the original media rather than the game itself, it reflects ongoing cultural conversations around the series and its imagery.
