Story

Once an idyllic land, Dreamlight Valley was a place where Disney and Pixar characters lived in harmony, until an event known as the Forgetting. Night Thorns grew across the land and severed the wonderful memories tied to this magical place. With nowhere else to go, the valley's hopeless inhabitants retreated behind locked doors in the Dream Castle. Now it falls to a new resident to explore the valley, rediscover the stories of the characters who once lived there, and drive back the darkness to bring the magic back to Dreamlight Valley.

What is happening now

Disney Dreamlight Valley is a life simulation RPG where players restore a magical valley populated by Disney characters. Since its September 2022 launch across PlayStation, Xbox, and PC, the game has continued expanding its content offerings. The latest addition is The Keepsake Sea update, which introduces maritime-themed activities alongside the existing valley restoration gameplay. Players can now explore the waters by ship or transform into a mermaid, adding new exploration and interaction options to the established routine of decorating, farming, and character interaction that defines the experience.
