About
Pathfinder is a computer RPG adaptation of the tabletop fantasy setting, released in 2018. Developer Owlcat Games has since become known for translating complex ruleset-heavy games to digital form, following Pathfinder's launch with what's been recognized as a strong Warhammer 40,000 RPG entry. The studio has expanded significantly on the back of these releases, now operating with a team of around 600 people. Recent coverage explores Owlcat's trajectory and ambitions beyond its established successes, with leadership discussing the studio's commitment to the CRPG genre and what direction the company moves toward next.
