About
Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon is a standalone spinoff set in a neon-soaked 2007 featuring an ex-soldier navigating a hostile island filled with cyborg enemies and mutated creatures. The game riffs on 80s action movie tropes with a synth-heavy soundtrack and deliberately campy tone that sets it apart from the main series. Ubisoft recently announced that both Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon and a remastered version of Far Cry 3 itself will arrive on Switch 2 in Spring 2027, bringing these entries to Nintendo's next-generation hardware.
