About
Far Cry 3 Classic Edition brings the 2012 open-world shooter to current console hardware, letting players experience the tropical island setting and narrative-driven campaign on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The remaster preserves the core gameplay loop of exploration, combat, and skill progression that defined the original while updating visuals for modern platforms. The game is now headed to Switch 2 in spring 2027, expanding its availability alongside a simultaneous release of Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon Classic Edition. This marks another platform extension for both titles in Ubisoft's effort to bring these entries to newer hardware.
