About
Borderlands 2: Game of the Year Edition is an action RPG shooter that bundles the base game with its expansions, available across PC, Mac, Linux, and last-generation consoles. Originally released in October 2013, the game centers on a band of Vault Hunters pursuing treasure and taking down the tyrannical Handsome Jack across the planet of Pandora. Recent news indicates that a new release of the game will introduce additional playable Vault Hunters to the roster, expanding character options beyond the original lineup. Details on which hunters are being added and how they'll differentiate gameplay remain limited, though the move suggests Gearbox continues supporting the decade-old shooter with fresh content.
