About
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City - The Definitive Edition is a remake of Rockstar's 1980s-set crime sandbox, bringing the original's neon-soaked Miami setting and open-world gameplay to current platforms. The remaster launched in late 2021 across console and PC, including a Switch port. Five years on, coverage continues to affirm the game's enduring appeal. The defining qualities that made the original legendary - its distinctive aesthetic, musical identity, and uncompromising style - have held up well. Reviewers note the remake successfully captures what made Vice City stand apart from its predecessors and successors, cementing its place as a landmark entry in the Grand Theft Auto franchise.
