About
Castlevania: The Adventure ReBirth is a side-scrolling action game developed by M2 for the Wii's WiiWare service. The title reimagines the original Game Boy entry in the franchise, delivering classic whip-based combat and platforming on Nintendo's motion-controlled hardware. The game arrived on WiiWare in late 2009 and has remained exclusive to that platform ever since, never receiving a re-release on newer systems. Coverage at launch focused on how effectively the reboot captured the series' core appeal within the constraints of a downloadable title, marking it as a notable entry in Konami's efforts to bring Castlevania to casual audiences during the Wii's lifespan.
