SOLO LEVELING 2022

About

Solo Leveling is an action game that launched in June 2022. The franchise has remained active across multiple mediums, with the original novel preparing for an official English-language return on the Tapas platform following a two-year hiatus. The anime adaptation is expanding significantly, with a third season and a new film both in development that will advance protagonist Sung Jinwoo's story. Upcoming releases are positioning major narrative shifts for the series. The forthcoming Beyond the System movie will introduce a new Monarch form for Jinwoo while simultaneously removing two of his shadow abilities, effectively weakening him despite his growth. The anime continuation will also introduce a rival Monarch character to challenge Jinwoo directly. These developments suggest the franchise is moving toward a climactic phase in its larger story arc.
